​To us, joined with the Sick Children's trust, there is not a cause as important as this in the world.​

Every pound you donate will be spent on life-saving machinery and equipment which will evidently save the lives of thousands of children.​

We have learnt the hard way what every single one of those machines and monitors and bits of equipment do, and looking at Amethyst now, we realise however daunting they looked at the time, just how vital they actually were.​

Every pound is life changing for the Sick Childrens' Trust. ​

It costs the trust £27 to house a family for the night, and as this is not government funded, they rely solely on the donations from strangers, guests, families and others to stay afloat.​

Acorn House being situated on the grounds of Addenbrookes' Hospital, means that families of the children in intensive care can stay close to their children and not have to worry about where they are sleeping at one of the most difficult times in their lives.​
